Katie and Sean’s Engagement Session ~ Meadowlark Botanical Gardens
I met up with Katie and Sean on a pleasant, but slightly chilly November day to photograph their engagement session. This happy couple chose Meadowlark Botanical Gardens as the backdrop for their session. Although late in November, the fall leaves were still clinging to the branches, giving hints of brilliant color to a gorgeous landscape.
Meadowlark Gardens consists of several rather step hills. Walking around the gardens in sneakers can be tough and even those that are in shape can easily become winded. Although I pride myself in having survived several grueling road marches while serving in the Army, Katie proved that she was tougher than both Sean and I combined as she tackled the hills while wearing heels!
Throughout the session, it was obvious that Katie and Sean are a perfect match. Having known each other since they were children, this fun loving couple still seem to find their relationship new and exciting.
On October 21st, 2011 Katie and Sean will be surrounded by friends and family as they “I do” and begin their next chapter in this beautiful love story.
